Job summary

Pine Grove Manor is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with daily activities, maintain resident comfort, and ensure clean and safe living environments.

The role emphasizes communication with residents and the nursing staff, with a focus on maintaining dignity and quality care in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must appear on State Registry as Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Must have the ability to read and write.
• Prior experience as Nurse Aide preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty
• Assists residents with resident care including bathing, grooming, hygiene and placement of adaptive equipment
• Explains procedures to residents before administering
• Keeps residents dry (changes gown, clothing, linen, etc., when it becomes wet or soiled)
• Changes bed linens and keeps linens tight to avoid wrinkles from forming under residents
• Makes beds (occupied and unoccupied)
