Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks related to routine patient care within an assigned unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, grooming, mobility, comfort.
• Coordinates daily patient care activities on the nursing unit.
• Assists with admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Performs duties in support of the assigned unit as delegated by nursing staff.
• Responds to patient call lights and reports needs to appropriate personnel.
• Assists patients with nutrition, including feeding and fluids.
