Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in nursing assistant or related healthcare field (level I)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be able to work with physicians and nurses as part of the care team

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing personnel in direct patient care
• Serves and collects food trays; provides between-meal nourishment
• Changes bed linen; sterilizes treatment trays and supplies
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations
• Measures and records vital signs (temperature, pulse) and provides basic treatment
• Ensures a safe care environment for patients and families
• Performs continuous rounds and check-ins to meet patient and family needs
• Performs other related duties as assigned
