Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the patient care team. Under supervision, you will participate in activities of daily living, monitor vitals, assist with hygiene, and document patient data under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Ideal candidates have CNA experience or nursing student clinical rotation and must complete Basic Life Support certification before hire. Compensation is offered with an hourly pay range and standard hospital safety policies in place.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Previous work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or a nursing student who has completed one semester of clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and collect specimens as part of nursing care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene.
• Document portions of patient records and communicate changes to the RN.
• Assist with patient transport and ensure safety and infection control.
