Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System in Philadelphia is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed staff by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing personnel. You will help with daily living activities, monitor patients, and report changes to the RN promptly.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complete an approved Nursing Assistant program or be a nursing student with at least one clinical rotation, and hold Basic Life Support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current nursing student with at least one clinical rotation is required.
• 1 year experience as Nursing Assistant is preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing staff.
• Incorporate the Hospital's Customer Service Program concepts into patient care.
• Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program

Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation
