Job summary

Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ seeks a compassionate nursing assistant to support physicians and nurses in advanced primary and specialty care. You will assist with bathing, meals, transportation, medication administration, and positioning while promoting a safe, patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• BLS Certification preferred
• CNA Certification preferred
• Nursing Students preferred
• 1-2 Years Previous Patient Care Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activities.
• Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
• Changes bed linen, runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
• Measures and records patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatment.
• Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
• Performs continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
