Job summary

Munson Healthcare is hiring a Nursing Assistant to brighten patients' days, support clinical staff, and provide comfort through the night in a safe, supportive community setting.

No experience? Comprehensive, paid orientation and training are provided to help you succeed from day one. You will perform basic patient care, assist with hygiene, collect specimens, help with walking/exercise, transport patients, and monitor vital signs.

Qualifications

• Must obtain/maintain CPR certification.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
