Job summary

Munson Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the care team and brighten patients’ days in the local community. You will perform basic patient care, assist with hygiene, collect specimens, and help move patients between departments under supervision.

No prior experience is required—Munson Medical Center provides comprehensive, paid orientation and training to help you succeed from day one.

Qualifications

• CPR certification (adult maneuvers) at all times.
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients’ personal and comfort needs.
• Complete personal hygiene.
• Collecting specimens.
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise.
• Transporting patients between departments.
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient.
