Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care and comfort, support clinical staff, and help with daily activities in the community it serves. Training is provided and vaccination requirements apply as part of the facility policy.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, specimen collection, patient transport, and monitoring vital signs while maintaining patient safety and dignity in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification in adult maneuvers (with possible department-specific requirements).
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs.
• Complete personal hygiene
• Collecting specimens
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments
• Observing, reporting and recording vital signs of the patient
