Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent, able to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant provides care for both adults and pediatric patients. The NA will provide direct patient care in the clinical setting under the direct supervision and delegation of the nurse.
• The nursing assistant performs assigned tasks in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
