Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of Level I Nurse Aide training and competency evaluation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current listing on the NC Nurse Aide I registry.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing skills and personal care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Document patient care accurately according to unit standards.
• Promote effective communication with patients, teammates, and visitors.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and proper body mechanics.
• Respond to emergencies within scope of practice and participate in CPR when needed.
• Assist with meals, elimination, and mobility as delegated.
