Job summary

Altru Health in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant to work under a licensed nurse in direct patient care, including admission and discharge. You will assist with basic cares, transport patients, and report changes in condition promptly.

The role requires certification as Nurse Aide within 4 months, BLS within 90 days, English proficiency, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional early shift.

Qualifications

• Contributes to and assists in implementing plan of care reflecting patient needs.
• Demonstrates competency to carry out department standards of care and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned to meet department needs.
• Collects basic data and reports changes in health status and vitals.

Responsibilities

• Identifies signs of deviations in health and informs licensed nurses.
• Reports patient pain self-reports promptly per SOP.
