Job summary

Altru Health System in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant to work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, providing direct patient care during admission and discharge.

You will assist with basic cares, transporting patients, and communicating changes in condition, with Nurse Aide certification and BLS within required timelines. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Certification: Nurse Aide with North Dakota Board of Health.
• BLS certification within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the plan of care reflecting patient needs.
• Carry out department functions per policies and procedures.
• Collect vital signs and report changes to licensed nurses.
• Report patient pain/symptoms per SOP.
