Responsibilities

• Displays a caring and responsive attitude and represents the Medical Center in a positive manner and conducts all activities respecting patient/customer rights and expectations.
• Makes observations of patient condition and reports and documents information as requested; communicates with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Performs and documents nursing care activities as assigned, consistent with established procedures.
• Demonstrates nursing assistant-specific knowledge and skills (e.g. patient hygiene, vital signs, urine output documentation).
• Consider age-related factors in pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and departmental information; adheres to policies and procedures.
