Job summary
Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Float Pool at St Mary's Medical Center. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, assist with hygiene, nutrition, and comfort, and help maintain a safe, clean healing environment.
Qualifications include 6 months CNA experience or completion of an accredited nursing program, current state NA registry, BLS or ability to obtain within 1 month, and foundation course completion within 90
Qualifications
- Must have 6 months nursing assistant experience or complete an accredited CNA program.
- Current registration on the state nursing assistant registry.
- BLS certified or able to obtain within 1 month of hire.
- Completion of Essentia Health Nursing Assistant Foundation course within 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
- Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs.
- Safely transfer patients and take vital signs.
- Report changes in patient condition to the RN promptly.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment to promote healing.
