Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment under RN supervision.
• Notifies licensed personnel when patients report pain.
• Communicates patient status changes to the RN and care team.
• Assists with feeding and maintains fluid balance as appropriate for age and condition.
• Provides explanations to patients and families before care is given; answers questions within scope.
• Supports documentation and adheres to shift and unit policies.
