Cascadia Healthcare seeks a Nursing Assistant in Salem, OR. You will support CNAs, assist residents with grooming, feeding, ROM exercises, and daily activities.

You must be enrolled or have completed a state-approved CNA program and become certified within 120 days. Preferred candidates have six months of long-term care experience and a demonstrated ability to respond quickly in emergencies while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Within 120 days of employment, completes state-approved nursing assistant training program & become certified.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists CNAs in day-to-day functions.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with turning and positioning in bed.
• Documents services provided.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distances.
• Maintains punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
