Atrium Health in Shelby, NC is hiring a Nurse Aide I to support patient care on a full-time basis. You will assist with daily living activities, personal hygiene, vital signs, feeding and ambulation, and keep patient rooms clean and orderly. You may perform basic ECG and venipuncture tasks under appropriate training.

Shifts are 12 hours (days or nights), 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package and eligibility for paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with personal hygiene.
• Take vital signs and measurements.
• Feed and ambulate patients.
• Maintain patient rooms in a clean, orderly condition.
• Observe and report changes in patient conditions.
• Provide unit orientation and safety instruction to patients and families.
• Assist with clerical tasks and medical records.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Perform duties per Nurse Aide I scope and tasks list.
• Assist with ECG and venipuncture training.
