Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a part-time contract position in a healthcare setting. The NP will provide comprehensive medical care, collaborate with physicians, and coordinate diagnostic studies and treatments in accordance with state regulations.

The role requires NP certification and license, RN license, and up-to-date CPR; one year NP experience is preferred. TB screening and health certificate may be required; age 18+ and compliance with regulations are

Qualifications

Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required.
RN license in the state of practice required.
Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable.
One (1) year experience as an NP preferred.
Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements.
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
Current CPR if applicable.
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Provide medical care services to patients of all ages within scope of license.
Collaborate with physician and multidisciplinary team for data collection and care planning.
Order and schedule laboratory and diagnostic studies; prescribe medications and treatments.
Perform physical examinations, assessments and screenings; provide evidence-based care.
