Job summary

Grove Transit seeks a responsible Driver to transport members of the community to appointments and other destinations. The role requires a clean driving record, a friendly, patient demeanor, and the ability to assist passengers with mobility and wheelchair securement.

You will be responsible for keeping vehicles clean and well-maintained, following traffic laws, and communicating clearly with passengers, families, and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years old with 2 years of driving experience (not necessarily professional).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Friendly and patient personality.
• Ability to push and secure a wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers to appointments and other destinations.
• Provide companionship and assist with mobility and securing wheelchairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, families, and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
