Job summary

Carecruiz Homecare Agency LLC seeks a dedicated driver to provide safe, timely transport for patients using company vehicles in Sharon, PA. You will communicate with dispatch, assist with mobility needs, and maintain vehicle and trip records.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to pass screenings and background checks, and English proficiency. Training may include First Aid/CPR and Defensive Driving within the first month.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
• Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Must pass a mandatory criminal background check.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and must be insurable.
• First Aid/CPR Certificate obtained within the first month of employment.
• Defensive Driving Certificate or obtained within the first month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Safely moving, lifting, and positioning patients with medical equipment (gurney, wheelchair, stair chair).
• Communicating effectively with dispatch regarding the schedule and receiving instructions.
• Maintain a professional image and attitude in regard to patients, family members, and co-workers.
• Complete daily vehicle pre-shift and post-shift inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist clients/patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
• Must understand instructions in English (both written and spoken).
• Must be able to understand and operate tablets, two-way radios, and medical transportation software.
• Perform all duties as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Ensuring client safety and comfort during transportation.
• Maintaining accurate records of pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, and expenses.
• Following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Assisting clients with mobility and other special needs as required.
