Job summary

WelbeHealth in California seeks Drivers for transporting PACE participants, ensuring safety and on-time arrivals. You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist participants in and out of vehicles, and communicate with dispatch and leadership.

Compensation is a per diem hourly rate of $27 USD, with 401K match and sick leave accrual. Driving qualifications include valid license, age 25+, variable schedule including evenings and weekends, and ability to use technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience may be substituted for education.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to a schedule transporting PACE participants with high customer satisfaction.
• Follow traffic and safety regulations while operating vehicles.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-inspections on assigned vehicles (lift vans, ADA minibuses, ambulatory vehicles).
• Assist participants getting in and out of vehicles and transfer with wheelchairs.
• Update Transportation Supervisor on changes in a participant’s condition or status.
