Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking Drivers to transport PACE participants safely to and from destinations, performing pre-trip inspections and ensuring vehicles are stocked with emergency supplies. You will follow dispatch instructions, communicate with the team, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, 25+ age, willingness to work varying shifts, and CPR/First Aid certification within 180 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; 1 year of experience may be substituted
• Valid driver’s license and minimum age 25; background checks required
• Availability for a variable schedule; may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable using technology; prior non-emergency/public transportation experience preferred
• Pass DMV pull notice and random testing; pass DOJ/FBI background check; pass DOT physical
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire; certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport PACE participants as scheduled with high customer satisfaction
• Follow traffic and safety regulations while operating vehicles
• Conduct comprehensive pre-inspections on vehicles, including lift vans and ADA minibuses
• Assist participants getting in and out of vehicles and transferring from wheelchairs
• Update Transportation Supervisor on changes in participant condition or psychosocial status
