Job summary

UC Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support the Cardiac telemetry unit at UC Medical Center. The PCA will provide basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical staff and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and visitors.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and current STNA certification (or completion of PCA Novice Program). UC Health offers a strong benefits package and opportunities within a leading academic health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current STNA Certification, Clinical Rotation completed, or PCA Novice Program completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic direct patient care as delegated by clinical personnel.
• Measure vital signs and report all changes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) and hygiene.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and document treatments.
