GMTCare is actively seeking reliable Transporters to join our growing team in Salt Lake City. You will operate company vehicles, assist passengers, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time, safe transportation for individuals with diverse mobility needs.

Successful candidates will have a valid Utah driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 125 pounds. CPR/First Aid certification and DOT pre-employment checks are required.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 22 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Utah driver’s license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record in accordance with company standards (no major violations, suspensions, or at-fault accidents).
• Ability to safely operate large vehicles for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and maneuver up to 125+ pounds, with or without assistance or appropriate equipment.
• CPR & AHA First Aid certification
• Ability to successfully pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in time-sensitive and high-demand situations.
• Knowledge of the Salt Lake City area and surrounding roadways preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Safely transport passengers between residences, healthcare facilities, and other destinations throughout Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas.
• Use navigation tools and dispatch systems to ensure timely arrivals and efficient routing.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, and updates.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles using proper techniques and equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, stretchers).
• Secure passengers and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Complete trip logs, documentation, and reporting accurately and on time.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA.
