Job summary

GMTCare is seeking a safety-focused Transporter in Santa Fe, NM. You will operate company vehicles to transport passengers between residences, healthcare facilities, and other destinations with a focus on reliability and on-time performance.

The role requires a high school education, a valid driver's license with 3+ years of driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 125+ pounds. CPR or ability to obtain within 30 days, and passing a DOT physical are required. Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Acceptable driving record with no major violations, suspensions, or at-fault accidents.
• Ability to lift, push, and maneuver up to 125+ pounds.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport passengers between residences, healthcare facilities, and other destinations.
• Use navigation tools and dispatch systems to ensure timely arrivals and efficient routing.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding trip status, delays, and updates.
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting vehicles using proper techniques and equipment.
• Secure passengers and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections.
• Complete trip logs, documentation, and reporting accurately and on time.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
