Job summary

The NEMT Driver at Beacon Treatment Center in Arizona provides safe, timely non-emergency transportation to medical appointments, court hearings, and activities. You will maintain accurate trip records, follow HIPAA and safety protocols, and ensure client confidentiality while delivering compassionate service.

You must have a valid Arizona driver's license, a clean driving record, be able to operate a 15-seat van, and complete CPR/First Aid and Naloxone training.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a 15-seat passenger van.
• Proficiency with GPS/navigation apps.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to medical appointments, court hearings, and activities.
• Operate vehicle with defensive driving and proper speed control.
• Use GPS and local knowledge to plan efficient routes.
• Assist clients entering and exiting vehicle with professionalism.
• Maintain clean, functional vehicle and perform basic maintenance.
• Keep accurate trip logs with mileage, destinations, and delays.
