Job summary

Wellness Transport Of Georgia is seeking full-time and part-time NEMT drivers to safely transport wheelchair and stretcher clients to medical appointments, hospitals, and dialysis centers. Join a compassionate team providing reliable non-emergency medical transport services in Georgia.

Ideal candidates have a clean MVR, valid license, CPR/BLS, CTAA PASS, and wheelchair securement certification, with flexible hours and strong customer service focus in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with no suspensions.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• 7-year MVR with no moving violations in last 3 years.
• Able to work flexible hours between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
• Must live within 20 miles of Johns Creek, GA.
• Experience in NEMT and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport wheelchair and stretcher clients to medical appointments.
• Maintain communication with dispatch for schedules and instructions.
• Uphold a professional demeanor with clients and coworkers.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Assist clients entering/exiting vehicles and reaching destinations.
• Operate GPS and transportation apps; document trips accurately.
• Ensure vehicle is clean, fueled, and stocked with supplies.
• Adhere to Georgia Code and department guidelines for vehicle operation.
• Apply proper lifting techniques to ensure client safety.
