Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• DOT physical required after hire.
• Ability to speak Navajo fluently.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• NDOT background/health program compliance.
• Preferred NEMT driver experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation and companionship to patients in a company vehicle.
• Safely transport patients to medical appointments and assist as needed.
• Adhere to traffic laws and ensure passenger safety.
• Coordinate pickups and drop-offs with scheduler/dispatcher.
• Maintain records of trips, mileage, and incidents.
• Report vehicle issues and keep vehicles clean.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and participate in trainings.
