Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current state license with clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver experience with direct customer interaction preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives company-owned vehicles to perform first-call removals of deceased in accordance with laws and policies.
• Follows chain-of-custody, paperwork, and deceased identification procedures.
• Interact with bereaved families at home removals in a courteous and professional manner; minimize conversation as needed.
• Enter deceased event information into proprietary software per company procedures.
• Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes and assist with moving caskets.
• Vehicle maintenance duties: wash, vacuum, and ensure vehicle cleanliness; fuel as needed.
