The position emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with nursing and therapy staff to coordinate care plans. CPR may be preferred, with lifting duties and patient-centered care central to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a restorative or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Knowledge of restorative therapy techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as required.
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with restorative exercises and activities as directed by therapists.
• Encourage participation to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
• Monitor and report residents’ progress to the therapy team.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment during activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of restorative care provided.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to coordinate care plans.
• Provide emotional support to residents during therapy sessions.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning as needed.
