Department of Social Services is seeking a Driver to safely operate passenger vehicles for transporting individuals with disabilities, children, families, and the elderly. The role includes assisting participants, scheduling transportation needs, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance.

Qualifications include a valid NYS driver's license and the ability to work with seniors and disabled individuals; a background check will be completed prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid New York State Driver's License.
• Background investigation clearance is required.
• Ability to assist elderly and disabled participants.

Responsabilités

• Operate vehicles for transport of individuals with disabilities, children, and families.
• Assist in scheduling transportation needs for facility programs.
• Maintain and clean assigned vehicles; perform light maintenance.
• Assist participants in moving within buildings during activities.
• Provide raingear and clothing assistance in inclement weather.
• Occasionally perform light cleaning and run errands between activities.
