Job summary
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide a safe, structured therapeutic milieu for Behavioral Health inpatients. You will assist with admission/discharge, orient families, and support counselors in the interdisciplinary treatment planning.

Qualifications
- Associates degree in Behavioral Science or related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participates in admission and discharge process and orients patients and families to the psychiatric unit.
- Performs clerical and data entry activities related to patient care.
- Provides high quality patient care and assists Mental Health Counselors in treatment planning.
- Leads recreational, leisure, and skills activities for patients.
- Maintains unit safety, orderliness, and supplies per safety policies.
- Documents patient interactions and clinical interventions, progress, and quality activities.
