Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center, part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks a Mental Health Tech to support direct patient care across age groups, assist with ADLs, supervise activities, and document daily progress as part of treatment plans.

You will work with therapists and teachers on therapeutic activities, participate in crisis intervention when needed, and help maintain a safe, supportive environment within our comprehensive neurorehabilitation program near downtown Austin.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• SAMA training is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; college coursework in health care or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care and management across age groups.
• Document patient behaviors and progress daily.
• Supervise patients in ADLs, appointments, and recreational activities.
• Assist therapists and teachers with therapeutic/educational activities.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavior management as directed by treatment plans.
