Job summary

Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a PRN Mental Health Technician. You will promote mental health, support daily living activities, and help maintain a therapeutic environment for patients across ages.

You will be expected to document observations, communicate effectively with staff, and ensure safety and comfort within the unit while upholding patient rights and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Promotes mental health and maintains a high-quality patient care milieu
• Respects patient rights and privacy while delivering care
• Assists with activities of daily living and maintains unit cleanliness
• Escorts patients to activities safely and documents observations
• Maintains appropriate communications and records in the unit
