Job summary

Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek in Dallas, TX seeks compassionate Caregivers to provide hands-on support to residents with memory care needs. You will help with daily activities, offer companionship, and work with nursing and enrichment teams to ensure residents feel safe, cared for, and valued.

No certification is required, but reliability, patience, and teamwork are essential. Paid training and ongoing support are provided; benefits are available for eligible employees in a warm, home-like

Qualifications

• No certification required; prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Genuine compassion for seniors and memory care.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents during mealtimes, encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Observe and promptly report any changes in resident conditions or behavior to nursing staff
• Support residents living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia with patience, empathy, and understanding
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided according to community policy
