Job summary

Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek in Dallas is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to help keep our memory care community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and families. This full-time role covers resident suites, common areas, the kitchen, and laundry.

The position requires weekend work (Sat/Sun plus three weekdays), the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and chemicals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily housekeeping and laundry tasks throughout the community.
• Follow cleaning schedules for resident suites, common areas, the kitchen, and laundry areas.
• Monitor and communicate the need for cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
• Notify the Maintenance Director of any observed maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow infection control procedures and all safety guidelines.
• Observe and report any changes in resident status, needs, or preferences.
