Job summary

Frontier Senior Living seeks a compassionate caregiver for its Oak Hills Terrace Memory Care community in Tyler, TX. You will support residents with daily needs, meals, and activities, while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.

This PRN role offers day/evening shifts with a path to full-time after 30 days; strong English skills and a willingness to train are required. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required.
• Willingness to train for care of elderly residents.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all care needs a resident might require.
• Maintains confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Notifies care coordinators/RN of changes in resident condition.
• Assists in dining room during meals: setup, serving, clearing.
• Helps residents attend scheduled activities.
• Helps residents get ready and to appointments.
• Reports changes of condition promptly to medication staff.
• Takes and records basic vital signs and weights.
• Assists with lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.
• Keeps CPR/First Aid current per supervisor.
