Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Read, write, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Basic computer skills to print and enter resident information.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate empathy and create human connections with residents during vulnerable moments.
• Act as a patient observer to discover residents' interests and abilities and craft engagement plans.
• Master mise en scène to prepare dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for daily activities.
• Partner with residents to support daily life from wake to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist with orientation of memory care team members.
