Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities seeks a PRN Medication Aide in Denver, CO, to support residents with daily medication needs and care. You will maintain medication records, assist with activities of daily living, and coordinate with health professionals.

CPR certification is preferred; prior dementia care experience is helpful. This on-site role offers opportunities to make a tangible difference in residents' lives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• Experience with dementia patients helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and take vital signs.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to leadership.
• Transport residents within the community to activities or dining.
• Respond to emergencies and environmental hazards promptly.
