Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a PRN care assistant in Denver to support residents with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, and maintaining a safe personal environment. You will also help transport residents to activities, meals, and other areas of the community during scheduled shifts.

This role emphasizes quick, compassionate responses to emergencies, adherence to care plans, and regular vital sign checks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with elderly populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, personal environment).
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
