Job summary

StoryPoint is seeking a Housekeeping Specialist for our Memory Care neighborhood. This full-time role cleans resident apartments and public areas per schedule, while engaging residents with cognitive impairments through conversation and activities to promote independence.

The position requires a friendly, engaging attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and build rapport with families and residents. Work is from Monday to Friday, with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to provide excellent service with a positive, engaging attitude.
• Experience with memory loss is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and complete tasks timely and accurately.
• Ability to build strong rapport with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and models company culture and values—safety, accountability, and feedback.
• Encourage, coach, and support Memory Care team members to foster compassionate relationships with residents.
• Maintain daily tidiness of Memory Care neighborhoods and resident apartments.
• Perform bi-weekly cleans of resident apartments.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure positive experiences for Memory Care residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
