Job summary

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide warm personal care, support and companionship to residents in our Maryland community. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor changes in care needs and collaborate with the nurse to update care plans.

Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; state CNA/HHA/CHHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A current state required certification as a CNA/HHA/CHHA- Medication Aide Certified is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship to residents.
• Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor changes in residents' day and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.
