Job summary

Ocean Meadow Senior Living in Clinton, CT is seeking a compassionate CNA for a full-time 7 AM to 3 PM shift, with every other weekend. You will help residents with daily activities, monitor health, and support memory care residents with empathy and respect.

You will document care, communicate changes to the team, and participate in meaningful activities, while enjoying a benefits package and paid time off. Prior CNA experience in assisted living and memory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA
• Prior experience in an assisted living community. Memory care experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.
