Ivy Park at Laguna Creek, an Oakmont Management Group community in Elk Grove, California, seeks a Medication Technician to support residents with prescribed medications and daily care, emphasizing safety, dignity, and compassionate service within a collaborative team.

You will coordinate with nurses, pharmacies, and physicians, maintain confidential records, and help ensure a clean, secure environment while upholding nursing standards and company values.

Qualifications

• Prefer one year of experience assisting with medication at a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• State regulation may require completion of training/certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with the resident, pharmacy, and physician.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
