Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Medication Technician at Ivy Park at Tustin in Irvine, California. This full-time position involves supervising and assisting in the administration of medications, coordinating with residents, pharmacy, and physicians, and maintaining accurate care records.

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting with medications in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Completion of training/certification may be required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
