Job summary

Oakmont Management Group seeks a Medication Technician in California to supervise and assist with medication administration and provide direct personal care to residents. The role works with housekeepers and maintenance staff to support a caring community aligned with company values.

Shifts vary; pay ranges from $16.90 to $17.50 per hour based on experience, with benefits and opportunities for growth across Oakmont communities.

Qualifications

Prefer 1 year of experience assisting with medication at RCFE.
Based on state regulation, training/certification may be required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
HS diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
Must operate MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to interact with residents, families and staff.
Criminal background check and health screening required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy, and physician.
Order and track all medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident medication and care records.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
