Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician for a PRN role. You will assist residents with medications and daily living activities, documenting care in accordance with policies and regulations.

The role requires at least 1 year in a similar healthcare setting and CPR/First Aid certification. You will work with a collaborative team, maintaining resident safety and confidentiality while following all government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable with technology for documentation of medications.
• Ability to work as part of a care team and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications and treatments as assigned.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of medication and care.
• Notify supervisor of any medication issues or changes.
• Track medication orders and coordinate with the pharmacy.
• Assist caregivers in completing their duties as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resident requests.
