Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring part-time Medication Technicians at The Residence at Chadds Ford in Glen Mills, PA. The role involves dispensing unit-dose medications, maintaining records, and assisting residents with daily living activities.

You will participate in ongoing training and support a senior living community dedicated to quality care. The position offers part-time hours (7 AM – 3 PM) with wage band of $21.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the course, as required by State Regulation to administer medication, CPR and First Aide training as mandated by the State employed.
• Experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of Dementia is preferred.
• Shall be fluent in the ability to communicate in the English language, both oral and written.
• Ability to use computer for documenting services provided.

Responsibilities

• Dispense unit dose medications, making the required record entries at appropriate times, and notify the nurse concerning self-administered medications.
• Order and receive medications per State regulation and policies.
• Assist Residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) per the service plan.
• Monitor resident health changes and report to RN or designee immediately.
• Assist with clothing and laundry per service plan.
• Supervise or assist Residents with activity programs.
• Assist Residents at night, keep units neat and orderly.
• Attend in-service training and mandatory education as required.
• Escort residents to meals and activities as needed.
• Document scheduled/unscheduled services and input data into tracking system.
• Conduct programming that offers cognitive stimulation, socialization, physical activity and spiritual connection.
