Job summary

Park Avenue Lifestyle is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician to provide medication assistance and personal care to residents in our Mesa, AZ community. You will work under the Assisted Living/Memory Care Manager and ensure timely medication administration and accurate documentation.

The role requires state-required medication administration training, strong communication in English, and a dedication to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Medication Administration training/certification per state requirements.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, core values and goals of the organization, upholding company culture and vision.
• Completes all hours of state mandated continuing education each year.
• Promotes teamwork in daily duties through cooperation with co-workers and other departments.
• Promotes a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
• Completes documentation per Park Avenue Lifestyle standards to ensure care services and resident needs are met.
• Participates in narcotic count at shift change and maintains accurate inventory documentation.
• Administers medications as directed and complies with Rights of Medication Administration.
• Maintains cleanliness of medication room.
• Follows Physician Order Protocol for proper processing of orders.
• Documents resident changes and maintains charts/care files.
